Prettygate Baptist Church is a member of the Association of Grace Baptist Churches South East (AGBCSE). We currently have around 50 members and congregations of up to 90 people on Sundays. Our Pastor is Peter Shirtcliffe and we have one elder, Graham Rushby, involved particularly with youth and community work. We have links with a number of other local churches that share the same basic beliefs about the Christian faith.

Our Beliefs - We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and as such forms the basis for our faith, teaching and living. - God is real and loved us enough to send His Son Jesus Christ to die for all those who acknowledge their sin and sincerely seek His forgiveness. - The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Godhead and teaches and guides those who believe. - By being baptised we show that we are trusting Jesus Christ and committed to following Him. |
